We carefully assess your circumstances and created a strategic plan designed to achieve your goals and provide peace of mind.
4. Implementation
Our team executes the plan efficiently, handling your estate planning, probate or business documentation, negotiations, and legal processes while keeping you informed every step.
5. Case Review
We ensure all matters are resolved, provide ongoing support, and offer proactive guidance to help you maintain security and peace of mind.
Consultation
During your initial consultation, our experienced attorneys take the time to fully understand your situation, goals, and priorities. During the initial consultation, we are unable to provide legal advice since there has been no attorney/client relationship established, however, this is more of a meeting to find out if the relationship will work, if the assistance you need is something we can provide, if there are any conflicts with existing or past clients and if we are a good “fit” for each other.
Engagement
After the initial consultation, if you decide to retain us and we are able to represent you, we will draft and send an engagement letter for you to review and sign. The engagement letter is the contract between the attorney and the client that sets forth the agreements between the parties regarding the representation. The engagement letter states that you are engaging our Firm to assist you in the stated matters. It also clearly sets forth our billing methods and whether or not a retainer is required for the representation. The engagement letter provides guidance regarding terminating the representation and even file retention in our office.
Evaluation
Once the engagement letter is signed and returned, and the retainer is collected (if required), the attorney will reach out to gather all relevant documents and information she needs to represent you and schedule a phone call or meeting to discuss potential legal strategies, providing you with clear guidance on your options. This step ensures that you are informed and confident in the direction of your legal matters.
Implementation
Once the attorney evaluates the matter and potential options moving forward, the implementation of the plan is put into place. This oftentimes involves the attorney and staff drafting documents, reviewing existing documents, making phone calls, reaching out to opposing counsel, and more…
Case Review
Once the work contracted for is complete, the attorneys and staff at Borg Law Group are always available for follow-up meetings and questions, along with regular review of your file if follow-up is needed. We want our clients to leave our office knowing that they received quality representation and that they can come to us with their legal needs in the future. Even if they have a legal need with which we cannot assist, we can point them in the right direction to someone who can.
